22nd Season of Winemaker's Dinners

The Arizona Biltmore is preparing eight incredible epicurean evenings for the resort’s 22nd season of Winemaker Dinners held in Wright's Restaurant where guests will experience bold, inventive menus paired with specially selected wines from California and France, spend time with the creators of the wines, and enjoy a haute couture element of fashion and jewelry shows by Saks Fifth Avenue.

Remembering Taliesin West: A Photography Exhibit by Pedro E. Guerrero
Historic Photo Exhibit at the Arizona Biltmore Celebrates Frank Lloyd Wright & 75th Anniversary of Taliesin West
History will come to life in stark black and white at a special exhibit of images by Pedro E. Guerrero, the personal photographer of renowned architect Frank Lloyd Wright, at the Arizona Biltmore Dec. 15, 2011 through April 29, 2012.
Presented in collaboration with the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation and held in honor of the 75th anniversary of Taliesin West, Wright’s Arizona home that Guerrero began photographing in 1939; the exhibit features his favorite shots of the famous property that also became Wright’s architectural school. The collection will offer fresh historical insight into the period through commentary by Guerrero and because many of the photos have never been exhibited before.
The exhibit is complimentary and the public is welcome. It will be installed in the History Hallway of the Arizona Biltmore Lobby from Dec. 15, 2011 - April 29, 2012.
For history and photography aficionados who would like to meet Pedro Guerrero, he will host a special reception at the Arizona Biltmore on Sunday, March 11th, 2012 in Wright’s at the Biltmore, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. The reception will include wine & hors d’oeuvres. Tickets are $60 per person and are available for purchase by CLICKING HERE.
Guerrero, now 94, is one of this country's most gifted photographers. He was just 22 in 1939 when Frank Lloyd Wright took an amused look at his portfolio of photographs and hired him to document Taliesin West. Wright’s spur of the moment decision began an association that lasted twenty years until the architect's death in 1959, producing some of the most powerful photographs ever taken of Wright's work and Wright himself.
